Phase two in Vivant’s multi-tiered, patented Vitamin A renewal therapies, for skin already acclimated to Derm-A-Gel® or Derm-A-Renew®. This balanced formulation sloughs away dead skin cells, encourages cell renewal, helps reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation with a potent blend of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pro-brightening ingredients.

Skin Type: Recommended for Normal, Combination or Oily skin.

Ideal for: Acne-prone skin already acclimated to Vivant’s Derm-A-Gel®.

Regimen Step: Three

Use following cleansing and toning steps, when skin is primed for optimum product penetration.

Frequency: Up to twice daily - AM and/or PM. Begin usage every other day and gradually increase to daily application. (See skin type considerations below for more specifics.)

Method: Apply an even layer over the entire face (no spot treating). Allow serum to dry briefly before applying additional products or makeup to skin.

Considerations:

Normal or Combination Skin

Start using Exfol-A™ every other night for the first week to ten days, then gradually increase to twice daily.


Sensitive Skin, Arid or Dry Winter Climate Conditions

Begin with one application of Exfol-A™ every third night through the second week. Increase to every other night for a further week, and nightly thereafter. Eventually, you may be able to use the program up to twice daily.


Oily Skin or Hot Tropical Climate Conditions

Because your natural oil flow creates a film that slows the effects of the Vitamin A, the program can be stepped up more quickly. You may be able to start immediately using the serum once a day. As skin acclimates, begin applying Exfol-A™ twice daily.


Pro tip: When skin has acclimated, and you’re ready to push your progress to the next level, move up to Exfol-A™ Forté.
